Project Manager – Hospital Supply Chain

St. Onge Company is currently seeking a Project Manager that has experience in solving complex problems in hospital supply chains.  By utilizing a data driven approach to problem solving, we are capable of creating innovative solutions that are on the cutting-edge of hospital design.  Our Project Managers play an integral role in directing several projects with multiple resources that include industrial engineers, data analysts, technicians, project managers, other professionals, and client execution teams.

 

The Project Manager is the day to day primary project contact, leads meetings with client executive sponsors, and may also do small to medium sized account management.  You will lead multiple projects with several complex components for our hospital clients.  The Project Manager will pursue follow-on work, write proposals, support sales visits, and may even generate new leads.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Use proven Industrial Engineering methods and techniques to solve complex supply chain problems in various clinical areas including but not limited to sterile processing departments, surgery, cath lab, interventional radiology, and integrated support service centers.
  • Design and optimize materials management, supply chain operations, inventory deployment, and support service operations for healthcare clients.
  • Analyze the flow of materials and information through healthcare facilities by applying a wide range of quantitative tools and models.
  • Develop, execute, and maintain project work plans for each current project, work directly with the department local leadership, and the core team directors.
  • The Project Manager will lead multiple projects with various resources including a staff of engineers, other professionals, and technicians to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery that exceeds client expectations.
  • Supervise, coordinate, and review the work of project execution teams, estimate personnel needs, and schedules and assign work to meet completion dates.
  • The Senior Project Manager will play an active role in identifying and pursuing follow on work and may support sales visits. 

 

Education & Experience:

  • 7+ total years of experience in supply chain operations
  • 3+ years of experience in managing and/or consulting for supply chain operations, including surgery and central sterile operations.
  • Experience with cath lab and interventional radiology supply chain is preferred.
  • Experience with consolidated/integrated support service centers is preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare operations and/or healthcare facility design preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
  • Coordination with client and architectural teams.
  • Minimum of Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering, Healthcare Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or related discipline.  An MBA is highly preferred.

 

Other:

  • This position is based in York, PA.
  • Travel is required, typically 30-50%.
