Engineer/Analyst - Healthcare

The Engineer/Analyst - Healthcare will assist in the design of healthcare facilities, perform facility master planning exercises and develop operational methodologies that enable the efficient and effective delivery of patient care.  You will work with other talented engineers, project managers, directors, and client teams in pursuit of operational excellence.  Job functions may include process flow analysis, applied statistical analysis, layout generation, equipment evaluation, and business case analysis. 



  • Develop operational guidelines and floor plans for support and ancillary services within healthcare facilities.
  • Manipulate, explore, and assess large data sets within spreadsheets and databases.
  • Conduct research related to emerging technologies, operational strategies and industry trends.  Develop presentation materials and communicate findings in meetings with clients and colleagues.
  • Produce written reports, other deliverables, and assist senior engineering staff with layout development, capital estimates, staffing analysis, and business case analysis.


Education & Experience:

  • Requires BSIE, BSME or other Bachelor’s degree. Co-op/internship experience in a healthcare environment is preffered.
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.


Computer Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large data bases and spreadsheets. (A high level of proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, or other database tools and MS Office is preffered.



  • This position is based in York, PA.
  • Travel is required, typically 30-50%.
